Investment & FAQ

Things to consider…

What makes a great photographer? Is it the photos? The way the photographer makes you feel? How they pose you? Their Instagram following? In my opinion, it’s not only the photographs, but the experience! It’s commonly heard that the one thing you get to take from your wedding day is the photos… And far too often I also hear how disappointed people are with their wedding photos. Of course there are always good, better, and best options, and here we really believe we offer the best of both worlds: photography and the ultimate experience. Connection is something we take seriously here and we believe it’s key to documenting YOUR love story—as unique as it is. Whatever your decision is, invest in what you truly value the most!

-Frequently Asked Questions-

Do you bring lights?

Yup, I sure do! I like to use a 3 light set up and flash to create more dimensional photos at your reception. Having lights ensures I’ll be able to create consistent looking photos from the whole evening!

When will I get my pictures?

For weddings, you can plan on 4-6 weeks to get your photos. Any other session will typically be about 2-3 weeks.

How many photos do you deliver?

Every wedding is a little different! It can be anywhere from 700-1,200 photos. I do you the liberty of only delivering the best shots and getting rid of photos where there are eyes closed, duplicate photos, and photos that are out of focus. Everything I deliver is edited to create a cohesive storyline from your wedding day! For other sessions like engagements and formals, I’ll have you go through a gallery and pick your very favorites for me to edit.

What do you wear?

For a wedding, I’ll wear either black or a neutral, typically a dress or business attire to blend in. And comfortable shoes for the day! Any other session, you can catch me in my comfy clothes.

What gear do you use?

If you really care to know, I’ll list it here!

  • Canon EOS R5

  • Canon EOS R

  • Canon RF 50mm F1.2

  • Canon RF 70-200mm F2.8

  • Canon RF 35mm F1.8 Macro

  • 3 StellaPro CLx10

  • Godox V860II-C Speedlight

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! I know everyone’s situation is a little different and so I do my best to accommodate what I can. When inquiring, make sure to mention a payment plan!

What if we have to reschedule our wedding?

You’ll never be charged extra for rescheduling. If I have the date available, we can easily make the switch! If I don’t have the date available and you’ve already put down a deposit, you’ll get your deposit back.

Do I need to provide a list for family pictures?

Nope! I’ve been doing weddings for nearly 7 years and so I know what family shots to get! I pride myself in being fast and efficient during family photos to make it as painless for everyone as possible. I’ll get the shots that I normally do and then anything we missed we’ll make sure to get afterwards!

Do you have 2nd shooters?

A second shooter is not initially part of my wedding packages, but can be easily added on! I highly recommend adding a second photographer for your wedding day. I can only be in one place at a time and so having two shooters really makes sure all of our bases are covered! Just ask for one when you inquire!

Do you offer hourly rates?

As someone who has done both hourly rates and full day rates, I’ve found that it’s a more enjoyable experience for not only the bride and groom, but for me as well to not do hourly. You don’t have to worry about if you should have booked me for an extra hour so I don’t miss the sparkler exit and I don’t have to worry about constantly checking my watch! That’s just how I like to do things!

How do I book with you?

All we need to do is nail down some details for your wedding and I’ll put together an electronic booking proposal/contract for you to sign and to put down a deposit! Easy peasy.

Do you have a full wedding gallery I can look at?

Of course! This is such a great question to ask. I will happily send a gallery to you so you know I’m not all talk! As a photographer, I have to know how to adapt to any situation and every single wedding is different and it’s important for you to see that as well. Just ask and ye shall receive!
