About

Hi! I’m Dainia!

I’ve never been very good at biographies, but let me just start by saying… YAY! Thanks for being here! My name is Dainia (pronounced day-knee-uh, you can thank me later ;)) and I’ve been pressing a shutter for just over 8 years now! The first time I picked up a camera was in 2014 when one of my friends was graduating from high school and needed some senior photos. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I agreed to put my very limited camera knowledge to the test and really, well, the rest is history!

Yes, I know what you’re thinking… I was one of those people who just picked up a camera and decided to go for it. But since then, I’ve educated myself with books, Youtube, mentors, and photography conferences learning from some of the best wedding photographers in the world and have even won a few awards for some of my work. The best is yet to come!

I’ve dabbled in all different kinds of photography, but I’ve found that my passions lie with couples. Engagements, formals, the wedding day—It’s what I LOVE to shoot! I love getting to know my couples on a personal level and typically by the end of our time together, we’ll have become fast friends. Who knew you’d get a friend out of your wedding photographer, right?

Weddings have been my thing and what I’ve specialized in for the last 7 years. Between running my own business and doing associate work for other photographers, rest assured! You can fully trust that I know what to look for on a wedding day. I couldn’t be prouder of the work I’ve created in the last 8 years and I’m excited to create priceless memories and photos with you!
